Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive remote learning strategy aligned with Principal's business goals and talent development objectives.
- Design and curate engaging, innovative, and scalable remote learning programs, modules, and resources utilizing a blended learning approach (e.g., e-learning, virtual instructor-led training, microlearning, simulations).
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and leadership to conduct thorough learning needs assessments and identify critical skill gaps.
- Oversee the administration and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies to ensure a seamless and effective learner experience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting on ROI and making data-driven improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of L&D specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment focused on excellence in remote learning delivery.
- Stay current with emerging L&D trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in the remote and flexible work space, to ensure Principal remains at the forefront of talent development.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for all assigned learning initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality program delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
- Strong proficiency in managing and optimizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate).
- Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate engaging virtual training sessions and workshops.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions regarding program effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Certifications such as ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or ATD Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD).
- Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency with multimedia development tools for creating engaging learning content (e.g., video editing software, graphic design tools).
- Experience implementing adaptive learning pathways or personalized learning experiences.
