Job Description

Are you a passionate, data-driven marketer with a knack for crafting compelling customer journeys? Sage Group plc is seeking a talented Remote Lifecycle Marketing Associate to join our dynamic and expanding marketing team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing our customer lifecycle strategies, from initial onboarding and engagement to retention and advocacy. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams to understand key customer touchpoints and develop personalized, multi-channel campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, in-app, push, SMS) across the customer journey.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies and tailor messaging to specific audience segments to maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Conduct A/B testing on various campaign elements (subject lines, copy, CTAs, visuals) to identify winning strategies and continuously improve performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align on messaging, promotions, and customer touchpoints.
  • Manage and maintain marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and effective campaign deployment.
  • Develop engaging and persuasive marketing copy that aligns with brand voice and drives desired customer actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and competitor activities in lifecycle marketing.

Required Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or email marketing, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo).
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, journey mapping, and personalization tactics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling marketing copy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience using analytics tools to measure campaign performance (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM reporting).
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing.
  • Certifications in relevant marketing automation platforms or digital marketing.
