As a Remote Litigation Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing the vast amounts of electronic data inherent in modern litigation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire e-discovery lifecycle from data collection, processing, review, to production.
- Administer and maintain litigation databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for legal teams.
- Provide technical support and training to legal professionals on e-discovery software and best practices.
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement effective data management and litigation strategies.
- Assist with trial preparation, including creating demonstratives, managing evidence, and providing courtroom support.
- Liaise with external vendors for data hosting, processing, and forensic analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation for litigation support processes and procedures.
- Stay current with developments in legal technology and e-discovery tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation support or e-discovery within a legal environment.
- Proficiency with industry-standard e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, Summation).
- Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
