Job Description

You’ll work closely with various departments, including HR, IT, and hiring managers, to coordinate all pre-employment activities. This includes managing paperwork, scheduling orientation sessions, setting up necessary system access, and distributing welcome materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through their first 90 days.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome kits, employment contracts, and other pre-onboarding documentation.
  • Schedule and facilitate virtual new hire orientation sessions and introductory meetings with key team members.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure timely setup of equipment, software access, and system accounts for remote employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and providing guidance throughout their initial transition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of onboarding procedures and materials.
  • Gather feedback from new hires and managers to continuously enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies during the onboarding phase.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • High level of empathy and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and proactive approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
  • Previous experience in a remote work setting.

  • Certification in HR (e.g., aPHR, SHRM-CP) or relevant coursework.
