Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training modules on payroll processing, software usage, and compliance.
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for assigned clients.
- Verify and input employee data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefit deductions.
- Review timesheets and other payroll-related documentation for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Calculate and process wage garnishments, tax levies, and other deductions in compliance with regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax information with professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company payroll information.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities, including W-2 preparation.
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and changes.
