Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised Remote Policy Documentation Assistant to join our dedicated team at Furley Page Solicitors. In this essential remote role, you will be instrumental in supporting the creation, review, and maintenance of a wide array of company policies, procedures, and internal documentation. This position is ideal for an individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong writing skills, and a keen eye for consistency and clarity. You will work closely with various departments, including HR, Compliance, and Operations, to ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, compliant with regulatory requirements, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring our internal policies and procedural guidelines are comprehensive, user-friendly, and reflect best practices within the legal sector. This involves drafting new documents from provided information, editing existing content for clarity and grammar, formatting documents to meet brand standards, and managing document version control. As a Remote Policy Documentation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and regulatory adherence of the firm, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and proofread various internal policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to gather information and incorporate feedback into documentation.
  • Manage document version control, ensuring all team members have access to the latest approved versions.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all company policies and procedures, making them easily retrievable.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to established brand guidelines, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing documentation templates and standards to streamline the policy creation process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing documentation to identify outdated or irrelevant content and initiate updates.
  • Support the communication of new or updated policies to relevant staff members.
  • Contribute to training materials related to policy implementation and awareness.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to draft, edit, and proofread complex documents with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications
