Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly proofread and edit a wide array of documents, including but not limited to reports, proposals, marketing materials, website copy, emails, and presentations.
  • Identify and correct grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, syntax issues, and inconsistencies in formatting and style.
  • Ensure content adheres strictly to established style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, AP, or internal company style guides) and brand voice.
  • Verify factual accuracy where possible and flag any content that appears incorrect or requires further clarification.
  • Cross-reference text against original source material for data, names, and key information when required.
  • Provide constructive feedback to content creators and communicate necessary revisions clearly and concisely.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current language usage, grammar rules, and industry-specific terminology.
  • Collaborate effectively with content teams, project managers, and other stakeholders in a remote setting.

Required Skills
