Job Description
Are you a seasoned Product Owner with a passion for building exceptional software and driving product success from anywhere? Pendo is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Software Product Owner to join our distributed team. In this pivotal work-from-home role, you will be the linchpin between our product vision, customer needs, and development execution. You will champion the voice of the customer, define requirements, and guide the development lifecycle for key features and enhancements within our world-class product experience platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for specific features or components, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and company goals.
- Translate high-level product strategy and customer needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with remote engineering teams during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, ensuring clear understanding and execution of product objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders across different departments (sales, marketing, support, design) to gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate product updates.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
- Monitor product performance, analyze usage data, and gather customer feedback to inform future product iterations and improvements.
- Facilitate product demos and training sessions for internal teams and external customers as needed.
- Ensure product features meet quality standards and are aligned with Pendo's brand and user experience guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team setting, demonstrating strong self-motivation and time management skills.
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed product decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations in a distributed environment.
- Experience defining and documenting detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with SaaS products and understanding of product analytics or user experience platforms.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies.
- Prior experience working with global or geographically dispersed teams.
