Key Responsibilities
- Process and review employee timecards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and labor regulations.
- Resolve time and attendance discrepancies, working closely with employees, managers, and the payroll department.
- Maintain accurate time-off balances for all employees, including vacation, sick leave, and other approved absences.
- Generate and distribute various time and attendance reports for management and compliance purposes.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of timekeeping systems and related software.
- Provide front-line support for employee inquiries regarding timecards, attendance policies, and time-off accruals.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all employee time and attendance data.
- Participate in year-end and ad-hoc audits related to time and attendance records.
- Stay updated on relevant state and federal labor laws impacting timekeeping and payroll.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in time and attendance, payroll, or HR administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS and timekeeping software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Workday).
- Advanced data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of federal and state labor laws related to time and attendance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate level).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., FPC, CPP) or human resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
