Accenture Mauritius is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our dynamic team, focusing on critical academic-style projects that underpin our strategic insights and client solutions. As a Research Assistant, you will be instrumental in conducting in-depth research, synthesizing complex information, and contributing to the development of thought leadership and evidence-based recommendations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and secondary research using academic databases, industry reports, and proprietary sources.
- Assist in the design and implementation of research methodologies for various projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key trends and insights.
- Prepare detailed research summaries, reports, presentations, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the drafting of white papers, thought leadership articles, and case studies based on research findings.
- Collaborate with project teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
- Maintain organized research databases and documentation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Stay abreast of relevant industry trends, academic developments, and research methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in academic or professional research, including literature reviews and data analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Ability to synthesize complex information from various sources into clear, concise summaries.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of research ethics and data privacy principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Business, Economics, STEM).
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python for data analysis).
- Familiarity with qualitative research software (e.g., NVivo, ATLAS.ti).
- Prior experience in a consulting firm, research institute, or corporate R&D department.
