Job Description
SweepClean Services is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Residential Cleaning Housekeeper to join our growing team in Umoja, Nairobi. As a crucial member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our residential clients, ensuring their homes are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general house cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, floors) and kitchens (countertops, sinks, appliances, floors).
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Make beds and change linens as required by clients.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, or unusual circumstances observed in clients' homes.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks (lifting, bending, kneeling).
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy and discreet.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in cleaning services or hospitality.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to speak basic English or Kiswahili to communicate with clients.
