Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and support to residents during night hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor resident activity and document observations accurately and thoroughly in electronic records.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and behavioral support plans as directed by clinical staff.
  • Respond to and de-escalate crisis situations calmly and effectively, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular rounds of the facility to ensure security and address any immediate resident needs.
  • Assist residents with basic needs and routines, fostering an environment of independence and respect.
  • Facilitate positive resident interactions and maintain a therapeutic atmosphere.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, including logging incidents and shift reports.
  • Communicate effectively with incoming staff during shift transitions, providing clear and concise updates.
  • Uphold professional boundaries and maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident information.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

  • Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping.
