Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently using the restaurant's reservation system.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations.
- Communicate effectively with serving staff, kitchen, and management regarding table status and guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist guests with special requests, directions, and general inquiries.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure smooth flow and anticipate guest needs.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Ensure all guests have a positive first and last impression of the restaurant.
