Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Verify received items against invoices and purchase orders, noting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Organize and properly store inventory in designated areas, ensuring adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
  • Monitor expiry dates and promptly rotate stock to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
  • Assist kitchen staff with retrieving stock as needed and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Report any shortages, quality issues, or damaged goods to management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage protocols.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic numeracy for counting and verifying inventory.
