Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival, assisting them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring satisfaction.
- Prepare dining areas for service, including setting tables, polishing cutlery, and arranging condiments.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and assist with general kitchen and dining area cleaning and sanitation.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, process transactions, and reconcile daily sales.
- Restock inventory for dining areas, ensuring an adequate supply of plates, glasses, and other essentials.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, following all health and safety protocols.

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions and making change

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices
- Ability to speak Sesotho is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
