Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and providing general assistance.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Ensure shelves are consistently stocked, neatly arranged, and products are correctly priced and rotated.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing shopping environment throughout the store, including aisles, display areas, and checkout counters.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising new stock deliveries, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Monitor product expiry dates and assist with markdown procedures as necessary.
- Promote special offers, new products, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management when required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve daily targets.
