As a Retail Attendant, you will be the face of our store, playing a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable and seamless shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and providing general assistance.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card, and mobile payments.
  • Ensure shelves are consistently stocked, neatly arranged, and products are correctly priced and rotated.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing shopping environment throughout the store, including aisles, display areas, and checkout counters.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising new stock deliveries, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and assist with markdown procedures as necessary.
  • Promote special offers, new products, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management when required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve daily targets.

  • Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and calculating change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (LGCSE preferred).
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management practices.
