Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in on-the-job training sessions to learn roofing techniques and safety protocols.
- Assist experienced roofers with the removal of old roofing materials and preparation of roof surfaces.
- Help transport materials and tools to and from the worksite, maintaining an organized and safe environment.
- Learn to install various roofing materials, including shingles, underlayment, and flashing, under direct supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and tidy worksite, ensuring all debris is properly disposed of at the end of each day.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and any potential issues.
