Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Roofer to join our expanding team, delivering exceptional roofing solutions across Richmond upon Thames and the wider London area. Key Responsibilities
- Execute new roof installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks efficiently and to high standards.
- Inspect roofing systems to determine the cause of leaks or other damage and propose effective solutions.
- Install and repair various roofing materials, including slate, tile, felt, single-ply, and EPDM.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment, maintaining them in good working order.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating progress and any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Roofer (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in various roofing techniques and materials.
- Ability to work at heights safely and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or equivalent.
- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- Experience with lead work and specialist roofing systems.
- First Aid certification.
