Job Description
Mi Casa Guesthouse is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Room Attendant to join our dynamic housekeeping team. This full-time, day shift position is perfect for an individual who takes pride in creating spotless, comfortable, and welcoming environments for our guests. As a Room Attendant, you will be the backbone of our guest’s positive experience, ensuring every room meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and polishing fixtures.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, ensuring all items are stocked to the required par levels.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any defects, damages, or necessary repairs promptly to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, ensuring their needs are met to the best of your ability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping trolleys, linen closets, and storage areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linen and towels, as required.
- Report lost and found items to the supervisor immediately and follow established procedures for their handling.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
