Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and prospective clients through various channels, including digital outreach, networking, and direct engagement.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored MCB solutions.
- Present, promote, and sell MCB products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective outreach campaigns, promotional activities, and content strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to expand professional contacts and represent MCB.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and best practices in sales and digital marketing.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales/marketing role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and lead generation strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly banking
- Demonstrable experience with marketing campaign involvement and outreach initiatives
- Fluency in French and Mauritian Creole (in addition to English)
