Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by answering inquiries, guiding them to products, and providing excellent service.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain attractive product displays according to store standards.
- Ensure the sales floor is consistently clean, tidy, and organized to enhance the shopping environment.
- Support senior sales staff and managers with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
- Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure items are returned to their correct locations or processed appropriately.
- Operate basic store equipment safely, such as price scanners and manual pallet jacks, after receiving proper training.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and communicating effectively.
- Maintain product freshness by checking expiry dates and removing expired items.
- Assist with inventory counts and movement of stock from the backroom to the sales floor.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise of moderate weight (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous informal experience in a customer service or retail setting (e.g., volunteer work, school projects).
- Completion of secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent).
- Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge of local languages (e.g., Sena, Chuabo) relevant to the Quelimane region.
