Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently erect, modify, and dismantle various types of scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and coupler, system scaffolding) according to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret blueprints, erection plans, and work orders to determine appropriate scaffolding structures and material needs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding components for defects and ensure all parts are in good working order before assembly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, industry standards, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, local construction safety guidelines).
- Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to ensure smooth project execution and minimize disruptions.
- Identify potential hazards on-site and implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for scaffolding assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials and equipment.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Scaffolding Erector in an industrial or heavy construction environment.
- Thorough knowledge of scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling procedures.
- Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and best practices (e.g., fall protection, working at heights).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and scaffolding designs.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
- Excellent spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.

- Valid Scaffolding Erector certification (e.g., CITB, equivalent local certification).
