Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with school policies.
- Clean and polish fixtures, fittings, and internal glass surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, stored correctly, and used safely.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, for the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, informing management when stock levels are low.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet cleaning or floor waxing.
