Job Description
Caribbea Bay Resort is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Search Engine Marketing Strategist to elevate our digital presence and drive targeted traffic to our online platforms. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEM strategies, primarily focusing on paid search (PPC) campaigns across various search engines like Google and Bing. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage highly effective paid search (PPC) campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, analysis, and bid management to optimize campaign performance and achieve target KPIs.
- Write compelling and engaging ad copy, test various ad formats, and ensure landing page relevance to improve Quality Scores and conversion rates.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly campaign budgets, ensuring optimal spend allocation and maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEM trends, search engine algorithm changes, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Perform A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and campaign settings to identify winning strategies and optimize user experience.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align SEM strategies with overall marketing objectives and brand messaging.
- Implement and manage tracking mechanisms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) to accurately measure campaign effectiveness and user behavior.
- Identify opportunities for new campaigns, ad groups, and keywords based on thorough market research and performance analysis.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an SEM Strategist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads, including Search, Display, and Video campaigns.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Google Analytics for reporting, analysis, and goal tracking.
- In-depth knowledge of keyword research tools and techniques (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Excellent analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for advanced data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and persuasive copywriting abilities.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition strategies.
