Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual tasks such as planting, weeding, thinning, pruning, and harvesting crops (e.g., vegetables, fruits, grains).
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., tractors, irrigators, cultivators).
- Assist with irrigation systems, including setting up, moving, and monitoring water flow.
- Handle and care for farm animals, if applicable, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and assisting with general animal husbandry.
- Conduct general farm maintenance, including fence repair, cleaning barns, and upkeep of farm grounds.
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for market according to quality standards.
- Adhere strictly to farm safety protocols and food handling regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions from farm supervisors and contributing to a positive work environment.
Required Skills
