As a Corporate Building Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense and a vital part of our operational integrity. You will be responsible for implementing and upholding robust security protocols, conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, and managing access control for employees and visitors. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will be essential in identifying and responding to potential security threats, emergencies, and irregularities promptly and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the corporate building and grounds to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems and other security equipment effectively.
- Manage access control points, verifying credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, security incidents, and emergency situations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all personnel and visitors.
- Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal management during critical incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional security presence.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor and/or Security Guarding licence.
- Proven experience in a corporate security environment.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV and access control systems.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- First Aid at Work certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic IT literacy for report writing and email communication.
