As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be the eyes and ears of our operations, playing a critical role in maintaining order, deterring crime, and ensuring the safety and security of assigned premises. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned properties to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, fire, or other disturbances.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to detect and report suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all personnel and visitors.
- Prepare detailed daily reports on activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
- Maintain accurate logs of all visitors, deliveries, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
- Perform access control duties, verifying identification and authorizing entry/exit.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to observe and report effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and monitoring systems.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security-related role.
- Prior experience as a security guard, patrol officer, or in law enforcement/military.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local security regulations and protocols.
- Experience with alarm systems and surveillance technology.
