Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of security officers, ensuring high performance and adherence to procedures.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Oversee and manage CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm responses.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, preparing detailed reports.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide regular training and briefings to security personnel on new threats, procedures, and equipment.
- Manage rostering, shift handovers, and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the security operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a supervisory role within the security industry.
- SIA Licence (Door Supervisor and/or Security Guard) is essential and valid.
- Demonstrable expertise in CCTV operation and monitoring.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and incident management.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in report writing and record-keeping.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- First Aid certification is desirable.
