Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join our dynamic product development team in Quatre Bornes. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our flagship mobile applications, ensuring they deliver exceptional user experiences and robust performance. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment, leveraging your expertise in modern mobile technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, performant, and scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring mobile solutions align with overall product strategy and technical standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in mobile development, security, and data protection.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest mobile technology trends, tools, and methodologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, UI) to ensure the robustness and reliability of the mobile applications.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in mobile application development for iOS and/or Android.
- Proficiency in either Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, or expert-level experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging APIs.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and behavioral-driven development (BDD) practices.
- Prior experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) or FinTech industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in leading projects or mentoring team members.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools for mobile applications.
