Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our innovative technology team in Bambous. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our systems are robust, efficient, and align with strategic objectives. The Senior Systems Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing complex business problems, defining requirements, and designing scalable technical solutions that support our diverse business units. You will lead the analysis phase of projects, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality software and system enhancements. This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and exceptional communication abilities to translate intricate business demands into clear, actionable system specifications. You will contribute significantly to the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex business solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology standards.
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, project managers, and quality assurance specialists throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform gap analysis on existing systems and propose innovative solutions for improvements and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data models, and system diagrams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams to drive requirement gathering and solution design.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior systems analysts and team members.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems analysis and software development.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related IT role.
- Proven experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation including BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and process flows.
- Experience with database concepts and SQL for data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Exposure to financial services or technology consulting industries.
