Key Responsibilities

  • Perform proficiently on primary instruments (e.g., guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals) for studio recordings and live sessions.
  • Collaborate effectively with artists, producers, and engineers to realize musical visions and project goals.
  • Offer creative input and suggestions for arrangements, harmonies, and melodies.
  • Sight-read music, interpret chord charts, and improvise effectively across various musical genres.
  • Maintain personal instruments and equipment to professional standards, ensuring readiness for all sessions.
  • Adhere strictly to recording schedules, rehearsal times, and project deadlines.
  • Continuously develop instrumental technique, musical knowledge, and understanding of industry trends.
  • Participate actively in pre-production meetings and post-production feedback sessions.

Required Skills

  • Expert proficiency on at least one primary instrument (e.g., guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals).
  • Strong sight-reading abilities and a comprehensive understanding of music theory.
  • Proven experience in studio recording environments, demonstrating excellent microphone technique.
  • Exceptional versatility and adaptability across multiple musical genres and styles.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Punctuality and a demonstrated ability to adhere to strict project timelines.
  • Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software for personal practice or basic pre-production.
