Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, unpack, and stock merchandise onto shelves, ensuring products are placed in designated areas.
- Maintain organized and visually appealing product displays according to store standards and planograms.
- Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first and check for expired or damaged items.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting stock and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure aisles and stockrooms remain clean, clear, and safe for both customers and staff.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers by directing them to products or answering basic inquiries.
- Operate basic store equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and responsibly after receiving training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily stocking goals and maintain store appearance.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
