Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders, verifying accuracy of items and quantities against invoices and packing lists.
- Carefully pick, pack, and label products for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, customs forms, and manifests.
- Coordinate with couriers and logistics partners for timely pickup and delivery of goods.
- Maintain organized records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Monitor shipping supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Ensure the shipping area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Handle inquiries related to shipment status and resolve minor shipping discrepancies under supervision.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, warehousing, or logistics role.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
