Job Description

Career.zycto is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dynamic Shop Supervisor to manage one of our partner retail outlets in Malindi, Kilifi County. This is a pivotal role that calls for a hands-on leader who is passionate about creating an outstanding customer experience while meticulously overseeing daily operations. As a Shop Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, managing inventory, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for your team. You will be the face of the brand, embodying its values and commitment to quality service, thereby directly influencing the outlet’s reputation and profitability.

Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning and operational execution. You will be responsible for setting clear sales targets, analyzing performance metrics diligently, and implementing innovative strategies to achieve and surpass business objectives. Beyond sales, you’ll ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, manage cash handling procedures with utmost integrity, and maintain impeccable store cleanliness and organization at all times. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail associates, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Drive sales and achieve targets through effective merchandising, customer service, and promotional activities.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and minimize shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting and attractive shopping environment.
  • Process sales transactions, handle cash, and reconcile daily takings accurately.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to boost foot traffic and sales.

  • Valid first aid certificate.
