As a DevOps Engineer at Career.zycto, you will be a pivotal force in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will champion automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure our systems are robust, secure, and performant. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software deployments.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and development process.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
