As a Site Supervisor, you will be the linchpin of our on-site operations, directly responsible for overseeing daily fieldwork, managing site personnel, and ensuring that all building activities adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents for execution on site.
- Manage on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting toolbox talks.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to facilitate smooth project communication and problem resolution.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and project updates for senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
