As a Site Supervisor, you will be the linchpin of our on-site operations, directly responsible for overseeing daily fieldwork, managing site personnel, and ensuring that all building activities adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will play a critical role in bringing architectural visions to life, meticulously monitoring project progress against stringent timelines and allocated budgets. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents for execution on site.
  • Manage on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting toolbox talks.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to facilitate smooth project communication and problem resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and project updates for senior management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Valid driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices.
  • First aid certification.
