Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labour duties on construction sites, including site clean-up, material handling, and debris removal.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare work areas, including digging trenches, mixing concrete, and preparing surfaces.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or unsafe situations to the supervisor.
  • Maintain site organization and cleanliness.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and collaborating with colleagues.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on a construction site.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
