Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, desired output for various platforms (social media, websites, presentations, etc.).
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance visual appeal and narrative flow.
  • Work collaboratively with content creators, marketers, and clients to understand project scope and deliverables.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running, adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications.
  • Review all edited materials to ensure quality and accuracy before final delivery.
  • Manage and organize media assets, maintaining a well-structured archive and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, trends, and techniques to continuously improve our production quality.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders efficiently and effectively, iterating on edits as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Excellent visual storytelling ability and creative flair, with a strong portfolio to showcase.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard for quality and aesthetic execution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of colour correction, grading, and audio mixing principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation, particularly using Adobe After Effects.
  • A portfolio demonstrating diverse video editing projects across various styles and platforms.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic integration.
  • Degree or certification in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with different camera equipment and understanding shooting techniques relevant to post-production.
