Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks and scripts across various platforms and applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform thorough analysis of existing systems to identify areas for automation improvement and efficiency gains.
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for automation processes and tools.
- Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts, identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in software automation and suggest their adoption where beneficial.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and system performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable automation strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with API automation testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
