As a Software QA Analyst, you will be instrumental in validating new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across our diverse product portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate software releases prior to deployment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide clear and concise progress reports and metrics to management regarding testing activities and product quality.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software QA Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
