Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of software quality assurance activities across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to established QA processes and standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, prioritizing, and verifying bug fixes using designated tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between QA engineers, developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality objectives.
- Organize and lead daily/weekly QA sync-up meetings, providing status updates on testing progress, risks, and outstanding issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, seeking opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and best practices within the team.
- Participate in release management activities, ensuring all quality gates are met and documentation is complete before product deployment.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in a coordination or lead role.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
