Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, usability, and performance testing for web applications and internal systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT development team to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure that defects are resolved without introducing new issues.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality of the software.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
  • Familiarity with different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and database concepts.
