Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our growing team as Solar Installers in the Historic District of Goshen. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to learning and mastering solar installation techniques.
  • Assist lead installers in the efficient and safe installation of solar PV systems on rooftops and other structures, following blueprints and supervisor instructions.
  • Safely load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Perform various tasks including preparing work sites, mounting racking systems, installing solar panels, and assisting with electrical wiring and connections.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of projects.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to learn and commit to a comprehensive training program
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools (or willingness to learn rapidly)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, roofing, or general labor is a plus, but not required
  • Basic electrical knowledge or understanding is beneficial
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability and renewable energy
