Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and implement original sound effects, Foley, and ambient audio for various projects.
  • Edit, mix, and master audio assets to achieve high-quality, cohesive soundscapes.
  • Collaborate closely with creative directors, developers, and other team members to understand project needs and integrate audio seamlessly.
  • Perform audio clean-up, restoration, and spatialization as required.
  • Manage and organize sound libraries and assets efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough testing and iteration of audio implementations to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in sound design and audio technology.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations on all aspects of audio production.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or Reaper.
  • Strong understanding of audio principles, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality sound effects, Foley, and atmospheric audio.
  • Excellent mixing, mastering, and audio editing skills.
  • Experience with sound asset management and implementation in interactive media or post-production.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under flexible schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Production, or a related field.
  • Experience with middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
  • Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) for audio integration.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of sound design projects (e.g., film, games, advertising, interactive installations).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages relevant to audio production (e.g., Python, Max/MSP).
