Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced mixing of multi-track recordings across various genres, ensuring optimal balance, clarity, and impact.
  • Apply professional mastering techniques to finalize audio projects for distribution, including EQ, compression, limiting, and stereo imaging.
  • Collaborate closely with artists, producers, and project managers to understand their artistic vision and translate it into sonic reality.
  • Conduct critical listening sessions and provide expert feedback and recommendations for audio enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio technical issues related to hardware, software, and acoustics.
  • Maintain and calibrate studio equipment, ensuring peak performance and consistent results.
  • Manage and organize audio project files, ensuring efficient workflows and data integrity.
  • Stay abreast of the latest audio technologies, software, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute creative input to projects, suggesting innovative approaches to sound design and production.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in professional audio mixing and mastering techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, or Studio One.
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and psychoacoustics.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard plugins (e.g., Waves, FabFilter, iZotope, Universal Audio).
