Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to inform business strategies.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting and analytical processes.
  • Document database structures, data flows, and reporting procedures.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements and efficiencies.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrable experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
