Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled fabricators and welders with various tasks, including material handling, setup, and preparation.
- Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., grinders, drills, saws) under supervision.
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces by grinding, deburring, and sanding.
- Transport materials and components within the workshop using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Support welding and assembly operations by holding parts, fetching tools, and preparing consumables.
- Perform general shop upkeep and equipment maintenance tasks as directed.
- Learn and apply safe working practices for all tools and machinery used.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through active participation and cooperation.
