Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Stock Controller to join our growing team in Manching, Ingolstadt. In this critical full-time role, you will be the backbone of our inventory operations, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our stock. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our warehouse inventory, from receiving incoming goods to dispatching outgoing shipments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using designated software systems.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee the receiving, inspection, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization for efficient stock placement and retrieval.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels.
- Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock, proposing solutions for resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Prepare comprehensive stock reports for management analysis.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar stock control role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock (within safety guidelines).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Competency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, especially Excel).
- Understanding of supply chain and warehouse operational principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or a qualification in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Valid forklift operator's license.
