Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store, offering recommendations when appropriate.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring correct pricing and payment handling.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and manage returns/exchanges in strict accordance with store policy.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized sales floor, shelves, and checkout areas, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
- Restock shelves, display merchandise attractively, and ensure products are correctly priced and labeled, rotating stock as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new shipments in the storage area.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints politely and efficiently, and provide accurate information about products, promotions, and store services.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security guidelines, to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve daily sales targets, operational goals, and maintain high standards of service.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational best practices as required by the business.
