Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and teardown of studio equipment for various productions (e.g., audio recording, video shoots).
- Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on audio, video, and lighting gear to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues within studio environments and escalate complex problems.
- Manage equipment inventory, ensuring proper organization, storage, and cleanliness of all technical assets.
- Provide technical assistance and support to producers, artists, and other studio personnel during sessions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized studio space, including cable management, workstation readiness, and general upkeep.
- Learn and adhere to all studio safety protocols and operational guidelines for equipment handling.
- Assist with the movement and transportation of equipment within the studio and to designated storage areas.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and equipment usage for future reference and reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with senior technicians and engineers on more complex projects and installations.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of audio/video equipment (e.g., microphones, cameras, mixers, monitors).
- Familiarity with computer operating systems (Windows/macOS) and basic software troubleshooting.
